moved a file to be safe from desktop to documents now i click on that file and it takes me to microsoft support which is blank

HiI moved a file from my desktop to documents to be safe,and now when i click on it it takes me to microsoft support and the page is total blank, why? this is an important file i need,the only thing that has happened is an update i have not changed any settings etc, so now what do i do if i restore laptop to an earlier date will it bring all files i moved from desktop to documents back?
