I have a Dell 8700 (11 years old) and want to move my Retail version of Windows 10 Pro to my new HP laptop (Win 11 Home OEM). I will also need to reinstall the Dell OEM Win 10 on my Dell 8700.Problem: Because I installed a Retail version of Win 10 Pro on my Dell 8700, I no longer have the original recovery partition on my hard drive. So, when I try to use the Dell OS Recovery s/w. the app says "no OS image for this Tag, though images exist for this product"Should I move my Retail Win Pro license to my HP first?
