Mouse stops working after plugging in a controller but works fine if i disable the controller.

For some reason my mouse stops working after i plugged in this new Xbox 360 controller i bought. It gives me this error message: "insufficient system resources exist to complete the api". But if i disable my controller in device manager and restart my PC my mouse works fine. Any help is appreciated.Update: In addition to my mouse, my headphones don't work either. Despite troubleshoot saying there is nothing wrong with them they play no audio. I already made sure i selected the right output device. The only work around i have to this currently is to either disable the controller or plug my head
