Mouse not working after the recent update, please help.

Hello, my hp envy mouse started having issues with the mouse. Upon checking, i was told by the service center that it is an issue with the microsoft update. Today, when i updated my laptop further, the mouse is not working at all. Even the clicks aren't working, which were at least functioning earlier. What is the possible reason for this, as i have read that quite a few microsoft used have this complain after the recent updates. How soon can we have an update that solves this issue. Please connect me to someone who can help me out as this is a major problem.
