mouse is not recognized by windows 11

At a random point in time, the mouse has just suddenly stopped working. The Windows doesn't recognize it no matter what I do. It is connected to the laptop or not - doesn't matter. It was working before without any issue. I have stried everything, disconnect/connect, removed the device in the device manager, reinstalled drives, power off/on, etc. - nothing helped. The mouse is dead. Event if I connect another mouse to the laptop - same thing. I have also connected wireless keyboard through USB adapter - it is working perfect. What could be the issue? How to diagnose that?
