Mouse Freezing with USB switcher

My mouse and keyboard are experiencing freezing at a random interval for a very brief 1 second. The mouse stops moving and all button presses are ignored indicating behavior of a conflict or disconnect. The keyboard will freeze on keypress occasionally as well resulting in several characters printing at once.I've seen this asked, but I've not found an answer and it seems to only be an issue with Windows (10 and 11) as it does NOT happen with the connected Apple Macbook Pro.I share a mouse and a keyboard with two computers:1.
