Mouse cursor/pointer keeps increasing in size randomly every reboot without a visible change in the settings. How to fix?

Hi,I've had this problem for quite some time already but can't seem to find a working solution here or anywhere else. So my mouse cursor keeps increasing its size every time I reboot my laptop without any visible change in the settings. I usually keep my cursor's size at its minimum (size 1 in windows 11), and the size that it increases to is somewhere between 2 and 3. The change doesn't usually happen immediately: I suspect it has some sort of a keyboard related trigger since usually the pointer turns huge when I'm typing.
