Mouse cursor disappears on windows file dialog boxes (and some programs) on 2 different Surface tablets

When using the MS edge browser And uploading a file or selecting a file from my computer, the mouse cursor disappears.It does this on two of my windows 11 Surface devices - a Surface Pro 7 plus and my MS Surface work laptop which is only about 6 months old.It also does this on some programs occasionally such as CapCut.This is an extremely annoying phenomenon and I've tried changing every mouse setting conceivable and nothing seems to work. How do I fix this?!
