mouse and other devices is not showing on the devices manager. and my touchpad is not working at all. how can i redownload HID compliant mouse back???

i have an hp pavilion. the screen touch and keyboard works but the touchpad stopped working a while back. i searched online and it said to update the HID compliant mouse from mice and other pointing devices but that option doesn't even show on my devices manager
