After recent Windows 10 update (I'm on version 1809, update KB 4494441) - occassionally, mouse and keyboard simultaneously freeze. The image keeps moving (e.g. mouse cursor is showing loading, or browser tab shows loading), but I cannot move/use either. I have looked at Event Viewer under system logs, and there are no outstanding messages at the time of the freeze. I found no dump files. Keyboard/mouse, GPU drivers are the most recent.
Setup (may or may not be relevant):
One more thing I've noticed after that update, is that it seems to have corrupted most of SysWow64 - which I've managed to repair with sfc /scannow.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Note: this is a custom built PC, but I didn't have these issues until recently (timeline compares to when the update was installed). I still haven't tried updating chipset and BIOS to latest.
