Monitor turning on but not displaying anything

My desktop computer monitor is not working properly. It is a Samsung Odyssey G3 and when I turn it on it only displays the monitor's backlight for a few moments before going completely black. Even when I have disconnected any HDMI and Display Port cables it does not display the 'No Sources Found' box like it usually does. I tested both HDMI and DP cables with it and got nothing. I tried a different monitor with the same DP cable, and it works fine. I also tried connecting it to my laptop with a HDMI cable and it still showed nothing. Does anyone know the issue and how I could fix it?
