monitor goes black after 144hz refresh rate

hi I have an Asus G512li Rog and using it for about 3 yearseverything was ok with my laptop until 3 weeks ago. suddenly I understood when refresh rate switches to 144hz from 60hz after plugin, half of the monitor will goes black and starts flickeringthis problem is very annoying and I really don't know what is reasonit the lcd damaged? does deleting graphic cards and reinstalling them help? how about reinstalling windows? does anyone have any idea about this problem?
