MKV video thumbnail disappear in windows 11

MKV video thumbnail disappear in windows 11 version 24H2 Os build 26100.2605. I converted the MKV files to MP4 and it works though both file (MKV & MP4) extension don`t play in KLite Media Player but it works in VLC media player. I uploadthe image of the following files with file extensions, I convert the MKV files to MP4. most of my video files are in MKV format. Please walk me through on how to resolve these issues.
