Hi,
I have 2 Windows 7 computers on which I'd like to install my old network printers HP OfficeJet G85 (with Jetdirect 300X) + HP LaserJet 4050N. None of these are supported by HP anymore (and HP universal driver PCL5 or PCL6 does not seem to print properly).
Computer 1 (Win7 Pro ~default setup): after specifying the IP address of each printer, Windows directly recognized the printers and proposed the corresponding built-in printer driver. Printing goes fine.
Computer 2 (Win7 enterprise with probably custom gpo): after specifying the IP address of each printer, Windows just shows me the window with the list of printer manufacturers on left & printer models on right, but nor OfficeJet G serie or LaserJet 4050 serie is available.
Any idea what can cause the difference between the 2 systems?
Any way to recycle drivers (.inf & .dll) from computer 1 to computer 2?
Regards,
Gauthier
