Minecraft Launcher's Taskbar Icon is Invisible

Yesterday, I was playing Minecraft when I realized that that Minecraft launcher taskbar icon was invisible. When I pinned the launcher, I could move the invisible icon around on my taskbar, creating gaps between other, already pinned programs. Someone asked this question and got the answer "try reinstalling the launcher". That person said the suggestion worked and resolved their problem. Since the issue is relatively benign, I decided to ignore it rather than interrupt playing Minecraft with the chore of reinstalling the launcher.
