Minecraft Launcher Download Stuck on Pending

[Windows 11]

I tried to download the minecraft launcher through the website. It got stuck on either windows is updating or que 2. I cannot update windows no matter how hard I try. Then I tried to download it in the microsoft store and it never even started downloading. It got stuck on pending and now I cannot cancel the download or download anything else. I tried forcefully resetting the store but it still automatically puts me on pending and doesn't allow me to download or update anything else or even stop the download.
