We are having issues with Microsoft wireless display adapters constantly dropping their connections. It's not uncommon for it to happen multiple times in an hour. Restarting both the device and the computer does not clear up the issue (they'll reconnect, but then drop again at seemingly random time intervals).
Other steps we have taken include:
Deleting and re-adding the device in settings
Making sure display adapter firmware is up to date.
Making sure computers are up to date
Updating firmware on computers (graphics card, etc)

This problem seems to have popped up just this year, as it has not been as consistent an issue for the couple of years we've used the devices.
Our machines are varying versions of Lenovo running windows 10.
