Microsoft Windows not responding when playing Rust. I have to hard restart to unfreeze the computer

I just redownloaded rust and ran fine for about an hour then it started crashing which a pop up saying Microsoft windows is not responding and then i cant alt f4 cant alt tab i cant do anything i have to hard shutdown from the case. I've tried reinstalling the game, I've tried reinstalling easy anti cheat, tried validating files, updated windows, updated my graphics driver, lowered all the settings within the game and the problem still consist. Also my computer does not have a minidump folder so i cant see no crash report! It is not in c/windows. I used the search bar also and it doesn't exist
