Hello community,
The latest mandatory microsoft update of the 13th of september caused my (Logitech Z-5500) speakers to stop working. I suspect Microsoft (MEDIA) Driver 6.1.7601.24519 to be the culprit. After restoring to the latest restore point before the update that changed something in this driver, my speakers work again but as it is a mandatory update, windows will shortly after booting up, ask me to restart windows to finish installing updates again that cause my speakers to stop working. Is there any permanent solution in which my speakers keep working?
Microsoft (MEDIA) is restored to version 6.1.7601.17514 with that system restore which is one that does work.
