Microsoft seems to be reluctant to develop Disk Cleanup, but do you think Storage Sense is a good tool?

Unlike Disk Cleanup, Storage Sense lacks the ability to select specific files to delete and falls short in terms of operational transparency. Does Storage Sense perform a more thorough cleanup? Can someone please explain the difference between Disk Cleanup and Storage Sense?
