This problem has been asked many times by various people through the years and has never been answered that I can find or they were given circuitous ambiguous answers by the Microsoft Team. I am asking yet again. I have changed my default Microsoft Office 2016 (year doesn't matter as all years do the same thing) column fonts in my email program to a larger size. I have done this on several computers throughout the years and they all do it. At the stroke of midnight they all return to the Microsoft default size and the only way they come back is to simply restart Outlook - they then return to my new settings. I have been working at midnight and had it happen so I do know that it happens routinely every night at midnight on multiple computers throughout the years. Every morning I have to go in and re-start Microsoft Office Outlook in order to read my emails. This is very annoying - why should I have to re-start a program daily to get it to stay with my preferred settings?? Does anyone know the answer?
