Microsoft.NET Framework Ver 1.1 Service Pack 1 KB928366 Problem

I have installed this update 16 times now and it never stops, every single
time I log onto the computer it wants to install. If someone out there has
the solution to make it stop, I would be most grateful.

If the update has installed correctly and you can confirm that it was
successful, then hide the update to stop it repeatedly trying to install.
Check you Add/Remove programs and/or your update history to confirm
installation.

If the update message asked to install that updates, but it could not be done
for many attempts. It said it could not be done because of some problems.
Still it continues. kindly give ur valuable suggestions or rectify the
problem at your level. Regards.

Thanks for the response Reelman but my problem is that it won't install and
neither will Windows Installer 3.1 - which is the proposed first step to
resolving why KB928366 won't install. And even if it had installed, I don't
know how to hide the update either...

The problem which I asked to get rectified, is now rectified. It was
installed successfully after I found the solution for it. Anti-virus software
had blocked it. I thoroughly checked and verified the list and I cleared it,
resulting the successful installation of Service pack 1 KB928366 software.
