Microsoft Minesweeper's Treasure Hunt not picking up gold.

I just upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11, and I'm having a problem with Microsoft'Minesweeper's Treasure Hunt sub-game. When I move the explorer to some gold, he won't pick up the gold; he just (for lack of a better word) "swivels" on the gold but doesn't pick it up. I don't know if this applies to tools; I haven't gotten that far yet. I have both repaired and reset the app, but the problem persists. What's wrong, and how do I fix it? (I haven't uninstalled and reinstalled the game since that's apparently what "Reset" does.
