Microsoft keeps forgetting my password

I have a new laptop, a Surface Studio running Windows 11, I have been using it for about 5 days and the password stopped working. This seems to happen only if the device goes to sleep and when I start back in it asks for my password only to be denied. The only remedy I have found so far is to force shut down (hold the power button down for 5-6 seconds) it reboots then my password works, which confirms that I am using the correct password. Not ideal, as it loses any work I have open and it is disruptive to workflow.Temporary Fix - I changed the setting so it no longer sleeps in either battery
