Microsoft Authenticator app on Android phone and with Chrome browser

I'm having trouble understanding how to use my Microsoft Authenticator app on my Android phone to sign in to certain websites using my Windows 10 Laptop. I see that the Chrome Extension is no longer available and I'm wondering if I can use the phone app as a 2FA sign in using either my Chrome or Edge browser as of 03/04/2025. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
