Microphone randomly started to echo

I'm on my Windows 11 laptop and I use wired earbuds with a microphone. Up until this moment, I never had a problem with it. All of a sudden, while I was in a call, my microphone randomly started to echo like crazy. I figured my earbuds must've ran its course and I needed new ones. I got new ones, and the problem STILL persists! I did notice, however, this problem isn't prevalent when I used the Xbox App on my laptop. I tried messing around in the sound mixer settings but the problem is still going on. It echoes on most apps such as Discord and Zoom, but NEVER on the Xbox App. Does anyone know
