Microphone picking up audio from my PC.

I use earphones with a splitter for my pc, and the microphone keeps picking up audio input from my pc. I cannot identify the exact problem to this situation. I have tried updating and reinstalling audio drivers, as well as trouble shooting media player and windows, and none of these worked.
