Microphone distorted all of a sudden

Hello, i have gotten a new microphone because my old one broke, this microphone is cheap but its the exact same one i had that broke (i got the same one because its a good microphone). My microphone was working fine until out of nowhere it started being really distorted and making me sound like a robot. Later i figured out its not the microphone's fault, but instead it had to do something with this computer because, i had tested this mic on another computer and it works just fine. I have tried updating my drivers, reverting back a couple days, messing around with a bunch off settings of the microphone and it still wont work.
