MFA???

HI everyone one of the user is having an issue with MFA as He has been receiving his MFA authentication code through MS authenticator app for any other MS product and whenever he is trying to connect to a project on our Azure server, he is asked to authenticate over a text message or through call on his phone, tried resetting MFA on Entra, but no changes. Can anyone help?
