Media Player Error Code: 0x88890023

I have been recording video lectures through PowerPoint, and up until yesterday have always been able to view them on Media Player. Now when I go to view the videos (the same videos that worked yesterday) I get the error code: 0x88890023 with the message "We can't open X. It uses unsupported coding settings". Ths same video worked yesterday...Any suggestions?
