media guide in WMP 12 windows 7

my media guide icon (in the lower left corner of WMP 12) used to get me to a menu that would allow for browsing of radio channels........I have added two of my favorites to the favorites playlist but now these stations will not play, just a (not recognized) message saying the file is not compatible or something........I have been listening to KMPS country and Whisperings piano for at least a year & now they will not play........ can anyone help ? - I'm not a computer guy
