Maximum lifespan of battery in myasus app is disappeared and replaced by Battery care mode which limites the charging of the battery up to 80% instead

I've recently come across a problem with the battery health charging setting intergrated inside the MyAsus app. I've set it to maximum lifespan mode which only allows the battery to be charged up to 60%, but for some reason, when i restarted my laptop while plugged in, the battery level kept charging until it reaches 80%, and the option "maximum lifespan" is disappeared, only you can choose between either 100% (Full capacity) or battery care mode which means to be charged up to 80%!!! any clues on how to fix this to return to 60%?
