Mapping folder as drive

I have for years on different pc's running Windows 7, 10 and 11 used this concept:I have a folder D:\Tmp (or whatever). I can read and write like other folders. I map it as a drive with a drive letter (X in this example). I can now use X:\Tmp to read, write (and share in remote desktop sessions).On a PC I received BSOD and had to rebuild disk with Lenovo image. I am up and running except for X:\Tmp. D:\Tmp is working as always and the mapped version X:\Tmp looks good.In D:\Tmp I create Testfile.txt. In X:\Tmp I can see and open the file - but I can't save edits or create new files. I get this
