Earlyer this year I upgraded from Windows XP SP2 to Windows Vista Home Basic.
Before i inserted the upgrade disc I had 110GB free disc space left from a
hard disc of 160GB in total. After putting in the upgrade vista disc in and
it taking several hours to upgrade to windows Vista home basic I checked the
space left on my hard disc
and it said I had 92GB of free disc space left. That ment I have lost a
total of 18GB
of disc space. I am wondering where has this 18GB of free disc space gone to
and
how i can get it back on my computer. Because of the limitations of Vista
Home basic I am going to upgrade to Windows Vista Premium after upgrade of
graphics card and increase to 2GB of ram memorary. I am conserned that i
might lose further hard disc space and I would like to know how to prevent
this and get
the other 18GB of free disc space back. I would be grateful for any
suggestions as how to solve this problem. I would like to say any body who
has a present computer with windows XP SP2 and are thinking of upgrading to
windows Vista
not to upgrade unless it is realy necessary as vista slows your computer
down by half and it means further memorary upgrades.
