Lost capacity storage the hardware disk from external hard disk

Hi everyone, who read this post. I have the problem about lost the capacity hardware disk. I'm using the external hard disk for making a second OS. Suddenly, it's "blue screen death" for being lost connect disk and then I trying to restart again to boot it again. But it can't boot several times. So, I have to boot the primary OS to check the external hard disk and I'm surprising the storage external disk from 1TB to 256GB?? (I opened "disk management" to check). Also, the system said, my external disk (it's mean: the external disk was decreased capacity) was new connect to this system and told
