I'm at a loss. I'm no novice when it comes to computers and technology (I'm typically the go-to whenever anyone at work (a call center for a large bank) has any computer issues), but I'm having an issue I can't seem to find the answer to...
There has been a sound which, seemingly at random, will play through my bluetooth speaker that sounds like an incoming Skype call or something. However...
I'm not even sure where else to look for the source of the audio or what possible logs i might be able check. Any suggestions?...

There has been a sound which, seemingly at random, will play through my bluetooth speaker that sounds like an incoming Skype call or something. However...
- Skype is not running on my computer (it's not active on my task bar, not in the system icons, not even in the task manager)
- the sound takes over my audio regardless of whatever may already be playing, yet the volume mixer doesn't reflect anything playing through the audio on any devices
- I show no notifications at the time of the sound
- even when I do start up Skype and check, the last activity that I received was over half an hour ago (and it wasn't even a call, just a message).
I'm not even sure where else to look for the source of the audio or what possible logs i might be able check. Any suggestions?...
