Long delay trying to save to network drive

[Windows 10]

I have windows 11, but this was a problem even on windows 10. I am on PC A and I right click save file. in the address bar I type in \\<ip address of PC B>I see all the network share drives on PC B but they are all greyed out for about 30 seconds. I can then open a drive and save the file. If I don't go back to the root of the drives, (to see them all) I can save right away, but if I go back to pick a different drive, I have to wait again. If I open file explorer and type the name of PC B or the ip address without trying to save a file, I can open it right away.This was an issue for a lo
