Hi there,
I have a client who has a laptop with Windows 10. When I look at her account, I see her email address (hotmail). So this would mean she uses a MS account to log into Windows. When I wanted to change her PIN, it asked me for her MS account password. So I tried with the password she uses to log into Windows. This was not accepted. Finally we reset her MS account password. And I could change the PIN.
So now the situation is that she uses one password (not the PIN) to log into Windows and another password to log into her MS account and hotmail.
I think this is very confusing. I read in other threads here, that you cannot have a different Windows password from your MS account, unless you use a local account.
So how is this possible?
Regards,
Michiel
