Locked out from files after re-organizing admin accounts

Hello! My mom was working on a calendar using some local pictures. She was (and is still) using an old ASUS computer. On the computer we had two accounts: My old account and my moms admin account. I haven't used the laptop in ages and therefore my mom decided to remove her old admin account and then create a new one. When logged in to the new account, she couldn't open the local pictures on the computer anymore.
