Locked out by new admin name and password.

I just turned on my computer and at the start up screen is a new user/admin name I don't recognize with a password I dont know and I also am unable to answer the security questions. I'm essentially locked out. I've tried booting in safe mode and restoring - both require I know the password for this new admin/user. There are no other users on my computer. Just me. I don't want to reset and lose all my data. This would be devastating.
