Local Account User does not appear at login page

New laptop was set up using AzureAD although user is having issues printing in shared printer. Created a local account on laptop although the option to sign onto the local account does not appear on login screen. The only option I have is the Azure account or other user. When other user is selected it is asking for an email address not a user ID.
