Hi, I have a set of line-in headphones + mic.When the set is plugged in, the line in mic is regarded as the default input device and it seems like it works.However, it says that the headphones are not plugged in (although it's the same device as the mic which is considered as plugged in, and although the headphones are listed as enabled), so the only output device is the laptop's speakers.It's a completely new Dell inspiration 14 laptop.
