lenovo idea pac flex 5 touch screen stopped working and wacomm code 10 error - can i still use it as just a laptop?

i've read posts with similar problems. just want to use computer. spent too much time on phone with lenovo - not much help. did all troubleshooting only to be told to return it to a location not near me at all.
