Lenovo desktop went to blue ribbon screen after update. Won’t accept password

A recent “update then shutdown” on my Lenovo desktop has made it impossible to get back in. It’s now a blue ribbon screen (instead of random meerkats etc) at signin that won’t accept my password (which I know is right). It’s worth noting this was a store display model I got cheaply that they never wiped or reset properly so I’ve never been able to add programs etc as I don’t have administrator permission.I would bin it off but there’s some photos I want on it first.Any help would be appreciated thanks.
