Laptop turns off whenever lid closed

I have a problem with my new laptop. Whenever I close the lid, regardless of settings, the laptop just goes into hibernation and then refuses to wake up from it. It keeps falling into hibernation before even lockscreen is loaded if I try to turn it on. The only way is holding the power buton and doing a hard reset. If I disable the hibernation in cmd prompt, it just shuts off instead of hibernating. I checked all the settings, powerplans etc., did a factory reset but the problem stayed. It does that even if I disable all drivers (except windows) in system configuration. Is it a known problem o
