Laptop stuck at lock screen

My laptop is stuck at the lock screen. The animation where the password box comes is working but I return right back to the lock screen. I can get a glimpse of the password box but I'm unable to enter the password.I tried Ctrl+Alt+Delete. Hard restart. Tried several modes like safe mode, safe mode with networking, with cmd. I also tried a system restore. My laptop is IdeaPad 3, Windows 11. 8GB RAM, i5 processor (don't remember the gen), Iris Xe GPU
