Laptop Screen Stays Blank After Locking – No Password Prompt

When I lock my laptop (Win + L) and step away, the screen goes blank. When I return, the login screen does not appear, and I cannot enter my password. I can see the backlight, but there’s no response to keyboard or mouse inputs.Has anyone faced a similar issue? Is there a way to bring back the login screen without a restart?Thanks in advance for any help!
