Laptop screen problem.

Laptop is hp Elite X2 1012 g2The problem is when i turn on it on battery, after hp logo shows up, the screen turns so dark yet almost visible. But when i turn it on plugged in, it's fine and even if i pull off the charger, it keeps working fine.
