Laptop screen is black but can still see cursor

I was using my laptop when i notice it starting to go slow so i decided to restart it and after restarting it I notice it taking a really long time to start back up ( at least 15-20 mins) and in that time spam i redid that proccess a few times, after that my laptop came on but immediantly my laptop went black and only i could see the cursor so i thought shutting down the laptop would fix the problem but that did not workso i was able to hit ctrl alt del but when i tried to push task manager it went to the black screen, any advice on how i can fix it(also im not sure if this is a hardware issue
