Laptop lock down

My laptop (chrome book Lenvoa) got a security alert that looked like it was from Microsoft, that locked it. The alert had ph. # 1-888-294-0424 to call for help. When I called they ask for my ph.# so, I hung up suspecting a scam. I also turned it off; my question is how do I get it unlocked? I'm unable to insert pic of screen. Can you help me?
